The Craft: Legacy Looks Stiff as a Board [Trailer]

Blumhouse has dropped the trailer for The Craft: Legacy which they are touting as a "continuation" of the original film, but comes off more like a straight to Lifetime remake.

How much of this is film is sequel and how much is remake you ask? Well, the whole things comes off as a remake except for a small clip where the reference the title of the movie along with a photo of Nancy (Fairuza Balk). The scene looks like it was shoe-horned in so Blum could market this a sequel and not the remake it clearly is.

The FX for the movie, when they are doing magic, looks like they raided the supply closet of the Wizards of Waverly Place. That's kinda harsh, Wizards had better FX.

If you enjoy terrible writing and the rehashing of 90's cinema in an attempt to capture the 2020s youth market then, by all means, check out the trailer below. Or, maybe you want to have a good laugh so you should also check out the trailer.
