Ben Affleck In Color as Batman and New IMAX Poster

 Ben Affleck

Fans first saw the Ben Affleck Batman suit in a cryptic, black and white image next to the Batmobile. Then there was a shadowy close up on the cowl. The full Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer revealed more of the full body, then we saw the full suit, but again bathed in shadow. That was followed by a video with all three costumes. By that point, it was obvious Zack Snyder and his team were being careful to show the full suit, giving fans just enough to keep them guessing.

Two new images of Ben Affleck’s Batman have now arrived online. One is the Batman v Superman IMAX poster image, with the distracting Superman symbol removed, and then there’s the same shot, but from a step back and in full color, leaving the whole suit up to intense scrutiny. Check out the latest images of the Ben Affleck Batman suit below:

Obviously, this is a suit very heavily influenced by The Dark Knight Returns, the grey colors with the wide Bat symbol and the smaller ears. The utility belt is a bit darker than the comic though and the muscles built into the suit are different. But that’s become a necessity in big screen batsuits, so it makes sense.
